Resilience, Unraveled Plans, and Unexpected Joys

As 2024 draws to an end, you may be- just like us- reflecting on how unpredictable journeys can be. Sometimes, despite careful planning and countless hours of effort, things don’t unfold as expected.

For me, this year with Arras has been exactly that—a mix of disrupted goals, dashed hopes, but gratefully, some moments of pure joy. There were days when designing collections, creating content, and planning production felt like an uphill climb, especially when results didn’t match the effort.

But then, there are the surprises.

For example, a connection I made more than a year ago recently reached out to place an order for 250 stoles. It was completely unexpected but such a beautiful reminder of why I keep going. It taught me that every effort, no matter how small or delayed, can bear fruit in its own time.

This journey has taught me that resilience matters as much as planning. While mapping out goals and working methodically is important, so is embracing the unexpected—trusting that the seeds we plant today may bloom when we least expect them.
