WASHING & STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

The way you take care of your garments play a significant role towards preserving our natural resources while allowing you to enjoy wearing them for a longer time.

A few green tips that will help you to consider our environment:

  • To reduce your environmental impact, wash garments only when absolutely necessary.

  • Depending on the type of stain, spot removal reduces water wastage and energy consumption.

  • Use cold water to reduce energy used to heat up the water.

  • Hand wash when possible. It will not only save water but also preserve your garment for longer.

  • All our garments may be dry cleaned. However, please keep in mind that wet cleaning at home is kinder on our environment.

Peace silk:

Silk is a very delicate material and should be treated with care. Hand wash separately in cold water and use a mild detergent. Do not stretch or twist  the garment while wet. Line dry in shade. Iron when damp.

Store your silks in a cool & dry place. Air them after use and every couple of months. Refold silk fabrics once in a while in order to avoid deep creases and tears.

Organic cotton:

Cotton is a natural material and can easily get wrinkled after washing. To restore the garment to its original shape, iron it with a hot steam iron. Iron the garment on the reverse side to avoid sheen and lines.
